Seoul, April 27(World Korean News)= Nashville Korean Association(Chairman Shin Hee-kyung) delivered donations to the Nashville Red Cross on April 25.
The Nashville Korean Association met with executives of the Nashville Red Cross at 10 a.m. to discuss the active participation of the Korean community in charity activities, and held a check delivery ceremony at 1 p.m. to help Ukrainian war victims.
Twenty-four members of the Nashville Korean Association participated in the fundraising campaign to help Ukrainian refugees and collected a total of $4,220 and delivered it to the Red Cross.
The Korean Association's advisors Noh Jin-sung, Secretary General Kim Young-bae, Yang Eun-ha, and Chairman Shin Hee-kyung participated in the delivery ceremony, while the Red Cross was joined by Joel Sullivan, Matthew Charlton, head of local charity, and Nancy Pace volunteer.
Meanwhile, the Nashville Korean Association signed an agreement on the same day to help residents interpret and translate, and the Red Cross provides retraining and fire-fighting equipment for residents to each household, the Nashville Korean Association said.
